Injection moulding is the process of injecting molten thermoplastic polymer into a cavity, in a hardened steel mould tool, which opens on a split line (following rapid cooling) to reveal a plastic moulding. Typically this process is used to produce plastic mouldings where the relatively high tooling cost can be justified by low unit costs and tolerances which cannot be achieved by other moulding processes.

Many of the mould tools we run in our moulding machines have complex cores which operate in a plane 90 degrees to the tool opening plane. This enables designers to incorporate under-cuts and other complex features in their designs thereby eliminating or simplifying secondary assembly operations.
We operate a three-shift system, providing full 24 hour production coverage, with all procedures accredited and audited to ISO 9001:2008 quality standards. Our investment in production technology and our flexible approach to work scheduling means we can offer consistently competitive pricing - even on short runs.
With our wide range in presses we are able to offer plastic injection moulding from 1g to 800g in weight and have particular expertise in over-moulding various materials including metals.
We can work from CAD files supplied using the latest AutoCAD packages or, if required, we have the capability to lay down CAD drawings to customer specifications. Customers can choose from a very wide range of colours and finishes to suit their requirements.
We hold over 100 existing tools and we have our own fully-equipped tool room where we repair, maintain and improve tools.

To offer a wider range of services from a single source we have invested in additional technology to complement our injection moulding capability. Newly-installed for 2007 is a high-speed ultrasonic welder which enables us to offer customers highly-effective supply of both moulding and welding services. We are also able to provide professional printing, assembly and hot foil blocking of injection moulded products on request.
