TOOLROOM

Warden Plastics has a comprehensive in-house capability for the manufacture of extrusion dies, injection moulds, jigs and fixtures. The company's full-qualified team of toolmakers utilises a wide range of CNC mills, lathes and spark eroders within a dedicated toolroom to meet customer requirements for tools without the need to subcontract this work to a third party.

This enables Warden Plastics to manufacture, adjust, maintain or repair tools as required, on site, with the minimum of delay and the maximum degree of control over quality and turnround. Quality and long-life of tools is a priority for Warden Plastics and that is reflected in the materials of manufacture - such as high carbon steel/P20 tooling steels.

The toolroom also provides preventative maintenance on all tools while they are used in production to ensure consistently high quality of finished products, and to prevent non-planned production stoppages or tool breakages.
